Shields

Shields are a piece of defensive equipment used to provide protection to the player character. It is held in front of the player to deflect incoming attacks and reduce damage taken. Shields have different shapes, sizes, and designs, and may offer various advantages, such as increased defense, the ability to block certain types of attacks, or special abilities. Some shields may be heavier and slower to use, while others are lighter and quicker to maneuver.

May be installed on the ground using the Primary Attack Button, creating a solid barrier which will block movement, projectiles, etc. May be uninstalled by interacting with it. Can also be "broken", causing the Pavise to become like a regular dropped item and fall over. Reinstalling the Pavise resets its Impact Endurance.
