Some Feedback for Sorcerer
CoreFinder1 | Posted on Dec 31, 2024 at 2:11 am

I like the Sorcerer however it would be cool to see the merge perk as a base instead of a perk for the Sorcerer also I reckon when hovering over a spell in game it would show you the possible merges you can do with the spells you currently have equipped

This is standard procedure, called the perk tax. Rogue for example has to equip Traps & Locks perk to deal with locked containers. A Bard however can just equip a single song and get the same thing, and in an area with its perks intact. I hope that they get rid of these perks and bake them into the class itself, because they are usually a no-brainer to pick and only serve to diminish build variety because they essentially remove a perk slot.

Yeah that would be good

Bug with Manafold
Frostbyte | Posted on Dec 25, 2024 at 11:33 pm

When equipped manafold and time Distortion, the cooldowns do not get reduced by the proper amount. Example would be firebolt is 12 secs with time distortion and in theory should be reduced to 9 seconds but it is only reduced to 11. Is tool tip in-game incorrect? Also this is without spell sculpting on with the hidden increase of cooldown.

Seems that the +300% from time distortion is combined with the -25% to become +275% (3.75x)

Spell Sculpting bug(?)
Ahmedplat12 | Posted on Dec 19, 2024 at 9:31 pm

Spell Sculpting also increases the cooldown of spells by a %, I don't know how much but it's enough to add 1 second on the ice spear spell slot

Sur | Posted on Dec 20, 2024 at 11:49 pm

Wow I thought you were crazy but your 100% right, looks its 1.25x cooldowns with spell sculpting. Its actually a localization issue; the original string does state this but the english translation does not. Ill add it to the wiki and hopefully it gets resolved in game soon, be sure to report it as a bug!

Sur | Posted on Jan 29, 2025 at 5:44 am

they fixed this localization recently
