Does buff from Dark Enhancement work on Dark Reflection ? It should, right ? Another question, does Dark Reflection scale with any other bonus damage sources like will ? Dark Enhancement + Dark ReflectionanonymousOct 22, 2023 at 7:27 pmWarlock
I noticed in that Dark Reflection does not consume any charges on soul collector when hit (Tested on mobs, not players). Does it still benefit from the buff or do they not synergize? Dark reflection and Soul collectoranonymousOct 18, 2023 at 5:28 pmWarlock
Welcome to the game! BoC is "evil magic damage", whatever the hell that is, but not dark magic, so does not synergize with Soul Collector. Dark Reflection is on cooldown when you get hit, presumably from melee-only. Vampirism amplifies "all magical healing", which includes Torture Mastery. Power of Sacrifice is a high-risk, high-reward spell (in PvP), but a low/moderate risk, high reward DoT/heal in PvE. Since Power of Sacrifice does 0 upfront damage, you can cast it on multiple low-HP enemies like mummy spiders to heal a great deal (where Curse of Pain may otherwise kill them). In my opinion, the damage is far too great to use on yourself or an ally (36 damage over 12 sec without Curse Mastery, 45 damage over 15 sec with Curse Mastery, ouch!), for just ~15% bonus damage (on average). One notable exception: Cleric's with Perseverance perk, reduces damage, so they only take 1 damage per second, so you can Curse them to power them up without a massive cost.Mechanic QuestionsanonymousOct 18, 2023 at 4:15 amWarlock
First comment is technically right that you lose the increased healing bonus, but once the buff/debuff is applied, it snapshots the healing you had at the time it was applied, keeping the benefits even while you hold your melee weaponmagical healingSurOct 18, 2023 at 2:27 amHealing
Was having a conversation with a friend about poison damage and they remarked how they have noticed a high PDR effecting the DoT from the Centipedes Spit Attack, but not its Poison Trail. After doing a little investigation I noticed that all sources of poison damage outside of Death Beetles and Goblin Weapons is Green. Zombie and Stinky Stick gas, the Dragon fly attack, and the Centipedes Poison Trail. The Spit Attack, however, has a purply red color very similar to the Rogues "Rupture" ability I trust my friends experience, so is it possible that the Spit Attack is actually a Physical Damage Bleeding effect? I will probably do more testing on this and reply here with my findingsHigh PDR seems to effect the Spit Attack's DoTanonymousOct 17, 2023 at 11:16 pmGiant Centipede

Just bought the game, trying Warlock as my first class. Help me with some clarification on some perks/spells. Does BoC synergize with Soul Collector? (I think the answer is no) Dark Reflection immediately goes on cooldown for 15 seconds when you are hit? Does Vampirism increase Torture Mastery healing? Is Power of Sacrifice suppose to be used on yourself ?Mechanic QuestionsDuxClarusDuxClarusOct 16, 2023 at 1:22 amOct 16, 2023 at 1:26 amWarlock
Yes, each tick gets both additional magic damage and true magic damage; but since its max scaling is 12%, either additional damage will affect each tick by 12% of its value. Ex) having +4 total magic damage will increase each tick's damage by (4 x 0.12) = .48, essentially giving you one additional damage output per 2 ticks.Din of darkness damageanonymousOct 13, 2023 at 3:27 pmBard

Weapon stats (or other stuff, like instruments) only apply to your character when you have them out, not just equipped. So if you had +magical healing on a spell book, when you swap to your sword, you no longer get the increased heal effect on your curse ticksmagical healinganonymousOct 13, 2023 at 2:27 amHealing

In case of Poisoned Weapon you have stacks you can apply to an enemy. Do I just multiply the stacks by the base damage like so: Total Damage = Stack Count * Base Damage * (1 + Physical Power Bonus * Attribute Power Bonus) + Additional Magic Damage * Attribute Power Bonus Example calculation(At 5 Stacks Poisoned Weapon): Total damage (before debuff duration) = 5 * 4 * (1-.17 * .5)+10 * .5Question regarding stacks in D/HoTsHorvathAlteisenOct 12, 2023 at 8:23 pmDamage
