| IMHO Early Access Content should return once the game goes full release. Just make it very hard to get. An idea I had is simple, occasionally spawn a Boss mob (with some kinda map wide sound notification that a rare mob has spawned) that is wearing the skin, and have it roam the maps. | I believe that combining the crouch and shift walk only works as a method to decrease your movespeed. I think that whatever input you press last, whether it be shift or crouch determines the noise level of your footsteps. For example, if when trying to crouch and shift walk, you pressed crouch first, then shift last, the sound would be the same as to shift walking, just with the movespeed penalty of crouching, it could also be the other way around with your first input taking noise priority over your second, I don't really know, this is just what I think in my time playing DaD. It is important to note however that crouch+shift walking increases the amount of time between each footstep audio is played, which can be useful in its own ways to be sneaky. | The point is that, if you kill better geared player you get more gold from them. since they will be better geared, also, you can get better rewards killing bosses or going hell being geared, like is more easy do the PvE gold sourceses. | In my experience, you can crouch without jumping to dodge his Orb Attack if you are close enough - within maybe 1.5 to 2 halberd-lengths. But from further away, you will still get hit. My guess is that the orbs originate from a point slightly above players' head height, so the orbs naturally angle slightly downward. This would mean that walking towards the boss while crouching should improve your odds of dodging them. Jumping into a crouch should work at any range except maybe point-blank, provided you can time the jump correctly. | So I'm just going to go straight into an example with zap and how I think it works, someone please tell me if it's right or wrong : So Zap has a base damage (Base) of 20 on the hit and Base = 1 on burn; the scaling for the hit = 1.0, burn = 0.5. So say I have a blue book (5 MD), +4 AddMD in jewelry, and 0.3 MPBonus. So the hit damage would be: (Base + 5MD*SCL)*(1+MPB(SCL)) + AddMD*SCL ? => => (20+5*(1.0))*(1 + 0.3*(1.0)) + 4*(1.0) = 36.5 damage before enemy MR; burn = (1+2.5)*(1+0.15) + 2 = 6.025 in 1 sec. But is +trueMD still subject to scaling and the "modified/scaled" damage just then ignores the MR of enemy? like if I had the previous formulas and damage numbers with +4 trueMD and not addMD. Assume enemy MR is 0.2. Would I just have (on direct hit of opponent) 32.5*(1-0.2) + 4 ; and (4.025*(1-0.2) + 2) or (4.025*(1-0.2) + 4) for burn?
