Believe the point is that bard trivialises PVE especially in cases of clearing (spawn rushing people in trios) and in bossing as most of the pve has a rough -20% base physical resist,then adding another +47% damage to them from all sources for playing a [1;2]s song whilst also buffing itself to receive the equivalent of 10strength(ballad of courage),another pair of lightfoot(beats of alacricity) and around 10 dex(aria of alacrity)-seems a "bit strong".Shriek is too fast and too overpoweredanonymousOct 24, 2024 at 12:27 pmBard

^ when you drink a potion you get a buff 10hp heal over 10s (1hp every 1sec) = 10hp heal, for ex, how long that buff lasts is then reduced. so with -10% buff duration you'd only get 1hp every 1sec for 9sec = 9hp heal. It's different from Barbarian's Potion Chugger as it specifically states that the base duration of potion buffs are -50% before consumed and buff duration increase/decrease is applied.Tips mistakeanonymousOct 24, 2024 at 8:20 amRogue
