No because spells/skills aren't attacks. Theoretically this should include ranged weapon attacks but cleric has no access to this so you can think of it as "melee weapon damage" only.Smite damageSurNov 20, 2023 at 4:00 amCleric
If you mean magical damage, the damage on books, then yes it's the most important stat for dmg for wizards and warlocks. Everything multiplies from it becoming exponentially stronger just like weapon damage on all other weapons. It does nothing for cleric heals but can affect their damaging spells.Weapon Damage, spellbookHouseHouseNov 18, 2023 at 5:47 pmNov 18, 2023 at 5:49 pmStats

I believe the way it works is: Each spell has a base amount of damage (such as Bolt of Darkness doing 15). The Magical Damage stat you see on Spellbooks, Magical Staff', and Crystal Balls, are added to the base damage of the spell you cast. I.E. Bolt of Darkness with the warlocks starting gray Staff will do 20 base damage. That damage will then be multiplied by Magic Power Bonus (the 164% in your example). Additional Magic Damage that you get on gear is not multiplied by you MPB, it is just added on at the end (although it should still be effected by headshot multiplier of 1.5), so the Bolt would do: (((20base × 1.64) + 20 Additional damage) × body multiplier)Scaling for bolt of darknessanonymousNov 8, 2023 at 2:49 amWarlock

Note though that using a Campfire yourself and then sitting means you will likely lose 1 tick of regeneration, which sometimes is enough to not restore a spell.Campfire shared?SurNov 3, 2023 at 6:24 pmCampfire Kit

Don't think it prevents people from using skills but it does interrupt spellcasting and active buffs including barb shouts, fighter sprint/second wind. Basically you have to hit them with it after they activate their skillCutthroat: Does it Silence existing skills/buffs? anonymousNov 3, 2023 at 4:36 pmRogue
Basically what I'm asking is if the barbarian has their shouts/achilles up already, and I hit them with cutthroat, will they go away? Or is the idea to run it with ambush to prevent phantomize/etc after the fact. Also if a wizard or cleric is in the middle of channeling a spell, can they still let it go, or does it just stop working? ThanksCutthroat: Does it Silence existing skills/buffs? anonymousNov 3, 2023 at 11:30 amRogue
It's either stated in a column per spell/song or listed at the top if its the same for all of them.Range?SurNov 2, 2023 at 11:46 pmWizard
