Guide

  • Normal:
    • The ice hound has two different combo attacks. The first combo attack begins with a diagonal slash (high(right)->low(left)(monster pov)), which is then immediatly followed by a diagonal slash (low(left)->high(right)(monster pov)). The second combo attack begins with a diagonal slash (high(left)->low(righ)(monster pov)) followed by a diagonal slash (high(right)->low(left)(monster pov)) followed by another diagonal slash (high(left)->low(righ)(monster pov)). Both of these combo attacks can be baited and spaced backwards and then punishing after. It is important to note which attack the ice hound begins with, as that will signal whether it is a two or three hit combo. Each hit from this enemy also applies the frostbite debuff.

  • Elite:
    • Same as normal but with increased damage, faster action speed, and higher health.

  • Nightmare:
    • The nightmare variant has increased damage, action speed, move speed, and higher health than the elite version. The nightmare variant also gains a fourth attack following the 3-hit attack combo. This attack is a forward slam with both paws. This attack can be dodged by spacing till the end of the four hit combo then punishing.

Loot Tables

Iron Mace reworked the loot system. The current loot information is out of date and incredibly misleading. Once things are fixed and loot information is accurate once more, they will be re-enabled.
