The Goblin Mage will also channel small AOE heal when low or when a low hp ally comes into his vicinity, healing 200 health and buffing movement speed by 100 and action speed by 300 for 15 seconds.  The Nightmare variant fires a barrage of 10 projectiles.

Guide

The Goblin Mage has two abilities

  • Homing magic projectile that deals massive damage and a strong movement speed debuff
  • AoE buff to nearby monsters with a very long cast time

Magic Projectile:

  • While at Range:
    • Simply strafe left or right.
    • (Observation?) The projectile biases in a right-handed circle, so strafing left while at range might be the easiest way to avoid it.
  • While in Melee:
    • The projectile will never hit a player crouched directly in front of the mage.
