Guide
- Normal:
- The frost skeleton guardsman has four attacks. The first attack is a short-windup thrust. The second attack is a long-windup lunging thrust. The third attack is the diagonal slash (low(left)->high(right)(monster pov)). The fourth attack is a shield bash counterattack that only happens if its shield is hit. Both the short-windup and long-windup thrust can be dodged by hugging and circle-strafing to your right of the monster. The diagonal slash can be dodged by crouch ducking to your left of the monster. The shield bash can be dodged by spacing slightly away from the monster then punishing. Each hit from this enemy also applies the frostbite debuff.
- Elite:
- Same as normal but with increased damage, faster action speed, and higher health.
- Nightmare:
- The nightmare variant has increased damage, action speed, move speed, and higher health than the elite version. The nightmare variant gains an electrified shield that returns damage upon being hit, as well as a vertical slash that can combo into the long-windup lunging thrust. These can be dodged by spacing the first attack then circle-strafing the second attack to your right.
