We’ve also lowered the gear limit for Normal dungeons from ‘Epic’ to ‘Rare’ gear and have improved the loot from both Normal and High Roller dungeons to make progression through the dungeon modes a little easier and to better match their risk to reward profile. We’ve also focused on multiple balance changes that focus not only on class balance but also the player economy.

Our long term end-goal for the Faustian Bargain feature is to eventually expand it to become its own fully supported game mode. Balance Updates

General

  • Gem Socketing costs for low rarity gems have been reduced: Uncommon 30 → 10, Rare 50 → 20.

Fighter

  • Combo Attack: Grants 10% bonus physical damage per stack for consecutive melee attacks within 2 seconds, stacking up to 2 times.
  • Adrenaline Spike: Additionally, you gain a 3% movement speed bonus and 30% regular interaction speed, do not receive the penalty for using the Adrenaline Rush skill, and the cooldown has been reduced from 60 seconds to 28 seconds.
  • Slayer: Grants an additional 10 movement speed.
  • Projectile Resistance: Additionaly, reduces projectile damage by 15% while in defensive stance.
  • Weapon Mastery: No longer applies any penalty.
  • Defense Mastery: Defense rating bonus increased from 10% to 15%.
  • Barricade: Defense rating and magic resistance increased from 50 to 75.
  • Victory Strike: Physical damage bonus has been increased from 20% to 40%, and the health restoration effect has been removed. If this attack kills a player, the skill will trigger again with no cooldown. (In the next patch, the name will be changed to “Finishing Blow”.)
  • Perfect Block: Duration increased from 6 seconds to 8 seconds.
  • Spell Reflection: Grants a constant 15% magic damage reduction until a spell is reflected when the skill is active.
  • Shield Slam: Physical damage reduced from 45 to 30.
  • Taunt: Increases monster aggro by 50% to 300% when used.

Barbarian

  • Savage: Gains 1 Impact instead of Impact Resistance.
  • Crush: When wielding a two-handed weapon, can destroy reinforced doors and chests with one strike, and gains 1 Impact while wielding a two-handed weapon.
  • Carnage: Striking 2 or more players with a melee weapon within 1.5 seconds grants 40% bonus physical damage for 3 seconds.
  • Executioner: Increases headshot damage with axes from 10% to 20%.
  • Treacherous Lungs: Grants an additional 10% cooldown reduction.
  • Blood Exchange: Reduces maximum health by 10% when the skill is used and restores 10% of damage dealt during the skill duration.
  • War Sacrifice: Increases all attribute gains from the skill from 5 to 8, while reducing duration from 12 seconds to 8 seconds.
  • War Cry: Duration increased from 7 seconds to 10 seconds.

Rogue

  • Dagger Expert: Physical damage bonus increased from 10% to 15%, and additionally grants 1 true physical damage.
  • Thrust: Armor penetration increased from 20% to 25%.
  • Creep: Gains an additional 10% movement speed while crouching and walking.
  • Back Attack: The angle for detecting back attacks increased from 90° to 120°.
  • Caltrops: Automatically recovers every 28 seconds. Can be stored up to 3 times.
  • Smoke Pot: Automatically recovers every 60 seconds, and movement speed penalty inside smoke reduced from 10% to 5%.

Ranger

  • Trap Mastery: Installs trap-type items instantly and retrieves them when disarmed.
  • Camping Mastery: Installs campfires instantly and doubles their duration.
  • Purge Shot: Changed from a skill to a passive effect, removing one random magical buff from the target with each ranged weapon hit and dealing 3 true magical damage.
  • Field Ration: Healing amount increased from 25 to 40, quantity reduced from 3 to 2, and can now be replenished using a campfire.
  • Forceful Shot: Duration increased from 8 seconds to 10 seconds.
  • Penetrating Shot: Additionally, Attacks with bows and crossbows now pierce targets.

Wizard

  • Melt: Applies an additional 10% projectile damage reduction penalty.
  • Sage: Knowledge bonus increased from 10% to 15%.

Cleric

  • Brewmaster: Increases the duration of drunken effects by 50%.
  • Holy Water: Additionally, harmful magic effects are removed and blessing effects are applied.
  • Kindness: Healing amount increased from 15% to 30%.
  • Requiem: Additionally, reduces ally resurrection time by 50% when using resurrection spells.

Bard

  • Lore Mastery: General interaction speed increased from 25% to 30% and additionally grants 5 extra memory capacity.
  • Rapier Mastery: Weapon attack increased from 2 to 3.
  • Melodic Protection: Physical damage reduction changed from 30% to 25% and magic damage reduction set to 25%.
  • Story Teller: Will increase changed from 3 to 5.
  • Wanderer's Luck: Luck increased from 50 to 100.
  • Encore: Resets the duration of all music buffs applied to nearby party members.
  • Party Maker: Grants all nearby allies a 15-second immunity to intoxication; drinking while immune restores 5 health.
  • Tranquility: Additional health recovered during rest increased from 1 to 2, duration changed from 10/20/30 seconds to 10/15/20 seconds.
  • Song of Shadow: Duration increased from 10/15/20 seconds to 10/20/30 seconds.
  • Din of Darkness: Dark magic damage attribute bonus ratio increased from 0.06/0.09/0.12 to 0.16/0.33/0.5.
  • Piercing Shrill: Physical damage increased from 15/20/25 to 20/25/30.

Warlock

  • Dark Enhancement: Spell power bonus increased from 10% to 20%.
  • Soul Collector: The condition for consuming Dark Shards has changed from casting a Dark magic spell to dealing Dark magic damage.
  • Immortal Lament: When health falls below 5%, magic healing bonus is increased by 100% for 5 seconds.
  • Infernal Pledge: Damage reduction from Undead and Demons has been increased from 25% to 40%.
  • Malice: Will increase changed from 10% to 15%.
  • Dark Reflection: Dark magic damage increased from 10 to 15.
  • Dark Offering: Duration increased from 15 seconds to 45 seconds.
  • Exploitation Strike: Now applies only to unarmed attacks instead of physical attacks, and its duration has been increased from 4 seconds to 15 seconds. Bonus magic damage has been increased from 4 → 15, and health restoration has been increased from 5% → 10%.
  • Phantomize: Cancel motion has been added.
  • Ray of Darkness: Beam size increased, making it easier to hit targets.
  • Eldritch Shield: Duration increased from 4 seconds to 6 seconds. During the effect, Dark magic damage bonus increased from 20% to 30%, and Dark magic casting speed is increased by 50%

Druid

  • Shapeshift Mastery: Instead of a magic damage penalty, you can no longer use elemental spirit spells.
  • Natural Healing: Grants a 10% bonus to magic healing attributes.
  • Herbal Sensing: Detects a wider area and increases the chance of harvesting higher-grade herbs.
  • Barkskin Armor: Defense rating increase raised from 25 to 50, and can now be cast on targets other than yourself.
  • Insect Predation: Fixed an issue where health recovery did not scale properly with resourcefulness.

Sorcerer

  • Time Distortion: Magic damage bonus penalty reduced from 25% to 15%. Each spell cast reduces action speed and movement speed by 3% up to 5 times. The debuff lasts 8 seconds and is removed after the duration ends.
  • Spell Stride: Movement speed bonus increased from 5% to 25%.
  • Lightning Mastery: Grants an additional 25% Lightning magic damage bonus, and the activation interval of Lightning magic damage is reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.
  • Elemental Fury: Gains an additional 0.1% movement speed bonus for every 1% of health lost.
  • Windblast: Now activates 0.6 seconds after spell casting.
  • Electric Dash: Expands the damage area upon arrival, dealing Lightning magic damage and applying Shock effects to a larger range. Lightning magic damage is reduced from 20 to 15.
  • Earth Elemental: Defense rating increase raised from 30 to 50.
  • Frost Lightning: Immobilizing duration on targets hit reduced from 2.0s to 1.75s.
  • Lightning Vortex: Magical Damage reduced from 30 to 20.

Item

  • Warlocks can now use the Kris Dagger.
  • Weapon Damage of all Rapiers increased by 1.
  • Weapon Damage of all Lantern Shields increased by 3.
  • Weapon Damage of all Falchions decreased by 2.
  • Crossbow: Weapon Damage increased by 2.
  • Windlass Crossbow: Weapon Damage range now starts at 43 and increases in +2 increments(43~56)
  • Maximum count of Arrows and Bolts has been adjusted to 30 and 20, respectively.
  • New options added: Headshot Damage Bonus, Undead Damage Bonus, Undead Damage Reduction, Demon Damage Bonus, Demon Damage Reduction.

Developer Comments

Welcome to EA Season #7. All character levels, items, stashes, inventory, reward tokens, karma, quests, affinity, and triumph levels have been reset. This season brings several large new features.

The Ship Graveyard – Test your sea-legs and head to the dangerous open waters with the release of the first chapter in a brand-new ‘The Blue Maelstrom’ campaign. Includes dozens of new monsters and two new bosses!

Squires to Riches - A new party focused PvP mode where everyone starts the adventure in low-end gear. Adventurers are placed into a random dungeon where they must scramble to find the best loot and outrun the foreboding Dark Swarm. Competition is fierce as you must secure one of the limited random portals to extract with your newfound riches.

Faustian Bargain (Experimental!) – Death in the dungeons doesn’t necessarily mean the end of an adventure. Show your fighting spirit in the dungeons and a mysterious figure may grant you a deal you can’t refuse with chance for ever sweet revenge.

Perks and Skills - Over 50+ changes to numerous underutilized perks and skills to improve build diversity of classes.

Unified Adventure Rank – Adventurer Rank progress is now unified across all party sizes. You no longer need to start your Adventure Rank journey afresh just because a member of your crew decided to go to bed.

We have also decided to start this season with a two-week ‘Solo Self Found’ event based on the positive response from the previous season. This means that the Trading Post and Marketplace will not open until October 7, 2025.

We have also decided to commence the Adventure Rank season and the Religion feature right from the start of EA Season 7. For adventurers that participated in EAS 6 and EAS 6.9 (SSW) Adventure Rank seasons, be sure to redeem your rewards from both seasons through the ‘Leaderboard’ menu. The Arena season will commence slightly later on October 7, 2025.
