There is ~1% chance of killing 43 yetis and receiving 0 teeth. ~0.1% of 0 in 65 kills. ~0.01% of 0 in 87.
You can get rather unfortunate when farming drops and it will remain well within statistical likelihood. You need rather extreme droughts before you can realistically question if it's truly incorrect.
